Misc Tools : Getting Started : Installation Wizard

After you have uploaded all the One Admin files to your web server, open the URL with your web browser to run the Installation Wizard. For example, http://your-domain-name/myadmin/index.php.

1. Server Configuration and Write Permission

The installation wizard will check for your server configuration. However, we advice you to read the System Requirements to make sure that you have the sufficient server requirements to install our applications.

It will also check whether you have set the write permission to your folder and files.

2. Web Address, Document Path and Administrator Password

Web Address

is the complete URL for the One Admin folder.
For example, http://your-domain-name/myadmin/. It must begin with

http://

and end with a

trailing slash " / "

. This is also your Product Activation URL.

Document Path

is the complete path for the One Admin folder in your web server.
For example, /home/salsapg/public_html/myadmin/.

a. Value of document path consists only a single slash '/' character
This happened when your server was setup without a relative path. It is advisable that you ask your server administrator for the complete document path, or refer to phpinfo().

b. Document path of Windows web server
Let's say that the default value is E:\home\sitename\myadmin\. Replace all backslash ' \ ' with double backslash ' \\ ' or slash ' / '. Your correct path should be something like E:\\home\\sitename\\myadmin\\ or E:/home/sitename/myadmin/.

The administrator user is created by default with the username

admin

. Enter your administrator password.

3. Email and SMTP Settings

Enter your administrator email address and its SMTP information. This will be used by the application to send out emails.

4. MySQL Database Settings

Enter the MySQL database information (Host, Username, Password, Database Name) for the Installation Wizard to create all the required databases and tables.

If you haven't created your MySQL database, login to your web hosting control panel to do so. If you are not sure about this process, kindly contact your web hosting provider for assistance.

5. Complete the Installation

Once you are done, click on the Proceed To Install button. The Installation Wizard will write into the config.php file and create the databases.

Set the permission for config.php back to 644.

6. Login to One Admin

You can now login to the One Admin area at http://your-domain.com/myadmin/ with your administrator password. This will give you access to the back-end administration area for the applications.

7. Front-End Integration with Web Pages
