This is a complete tutorial for Mini Poll Back-End and Front-End. After this tutorial, you'll be able to manage your records including add, edit and delete records, retrieve records from database and set your preferences. Add Mini Poll
Click 'Add Mini Poll' button to create new questions, type your question in the textarea provided.
Personalize your own button text, eg. Vote Now!. You can display your mini poll in radio button, checkbox or drop down list.
You can set the mini poll status to inactive which is to hide from public viewing.
Enter multiple answer selection for the question and you can define the number of votes for each answer. Click 'Add'.
List Mini Poll
Click 'List Mini Poll' to view all the mini poll you've created.
You can also delete, edit, update and change the poll status option either to active or inactive. If a poll question is set to inactive, it will not appear on your website.
View Statistics
You can select from the drop down list to view all mini poll results or select one at a time. The statistics will generate number of votes and percentage of the particular poll.
You can even capture a brand new statistics for a poll by clearing off the current statistics.
Set Your Preferences
Click 'Pref' to define the records limit of polls listing on a page in 'List Mini Poll' page.
Check option 'Prevent Multiple Votes Per Person' for preventing a person to vote more than once.
You can choose the option to allow either public (all visitors) or private (only admin) to view vote result.
You can always disable or enable the email notification to be sent for you whenever user has voted in your website and you can specify which email address to be sent to.
You can edit the email subject and content. Click 'Save' to store the setting.
