| Follow Up With Online Business Prospects |
Having an online presence (website) lets you move towards globalization and open your market to another 650 million of Internet population. People seeking for products and services may jump into your website and get to know about your company. Turning those visitors into real sales is what your main goal is. Hence, it is important to keep up with your online business prospects to build good customer relationship.
This tutorial will teach you how to use the Marketing tool in Comdev Web Builder 2.0 to manage your contacts, groups and message history.

Adding Contact
|
1. To add your potential contact, go to the administration area in Comdev Web Builder 2.0, click on the Marketing icon on your left menu. (Figure 1)
2. By default, the Add Contact page will show up.
3. Select the contact's Group, fill in the Company name, Address, Country, Telephone, Fax, Email, Website, Person and so forth. (Figure 2)
4. Click on the Add button when done.

Viewing Contact List
|
1. To view the list of contact, click on the View Contact page button on the top.
2. In Show Group, select a Group to view the list or select All to view all of them. (Figure 3)
3. Upon select, the list shows Company and Person. They are sortable by clicking the icon. (Figure 4)

4. Click on to view the contact details or click on to delete the contact at instant. (Figure 5)
5. Similar to most of Comdev Web Builder 2.0 user interfaces, when viewing the contact details, you can update the new information by clicking on the Update button. (Figure 6)

Managing Contact Group
|
1. The default Contact Group created is only the Newsletter. This is the group where your visitors subscribe to receive your latest company newsletter.
2. However, you can add in more Contact Groups so that you can classify potential contacts and prospects into different groups. This is important for you to identify which contacts need to be followed up more frequent and have better buying opportunity.
3. To add a new Contact Group, click on the Contact Group tab under Marketing tool. (Figure 7)
4. You can fill in the Group Name and Description if you wish to. Click on the Add button to have the new group added. (Figure 8)
5. To edit or delete a specific group, just choose between the icon or icon in the group list below.
6. Tips: You can create groups like Propects Level 1 to Prospects Level 5 where each level indicates potential buying ratings.

Group Email But Never Spam
|
1. The Group Email feature under the Marketing tool lets you bulk email your contact groups easily. You can utilize this tool to make announcements to them by email.
2. However, please remember that you do not SPAM any of the contacts. Spamming is treated as a serious matter in United States and International Internet legal issue. We reserve the rights to terminate the account if users are found to misuse the Comdev Web Builder 2.0 tool. Please refer to our agreement.
3. To send an email, click on the Group Email page button.
4. Select the Group, type in your From email address, Subject and Message. (Figure 9)
5. You can choose between Text or HTML message. If you are writing a HTML message, you can include images by using the Upload Files function. (Figure 9)
6. Click on the Send Email button once you are done. (Figure 10)

Follow Up With Prospects
|
1. Finally, this is what most people looking for to convert online prospects into real sales. You need to keep track with the communication between you and your prospects in the first place.
2. Under Marketing > View Contact, you can click on the icon for the Message Center tool. Alternatively, you can access it while viewing the contact details by clicking the Message Center button. (Figure 11)
3. The Message Center tool is simple to use, yet very useful. You can directly Send Message to the contact without going to Outlook Express, Eudora or Hotmail.
4. Message that you sent will be recorded in Message History. Click on Message History to view the incoming and outgoing communication. (Figure 12)

5. In the Message History, you will find a list of messages with Date, Time and either it is an Incoming or Outgoing message. (Figure 13)
6. To update the Message History when you receive an email reply for your contact, you can just click on Incoming Message, copy the message body and paste in the respective area. (Figure 14)
7. Click on the Update Message button when you are done.
