How do I get started on building my store?
Firstly, sign up for your 15 days FREE TRIAL store. Once you have signed up for your free trial store, you will then be led step by step on setting up your store – from choosing your store’s layout design to adding on your categories and products, configuring your shipping and payment methods as well as setting catalogue display preferences. Of course, you can opt to skip the tour after you have completed the first one, like publishing your personalize web pages or galleries as well. You will be administering your store via a user-friendly graphical interface.

Can I sign up for my store before my 15-Day Free Trial ends?
Yes, most definitely. You can sign up for Comdev Web Builder at anytime before your free trial ends. However, please take note that you will be billed from the date that you sign on and the remaining free trial days will no longer be taken into account.

How can I pay for my subscription for Comdev Web Builder?
You can pay us via your credit card. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Visa Electron, Discover, Diners Club and American Express. You may also pay us via wire transfer or bank draft. Please refer to Payment Options, under Build It Now page for our bank account information.

What happens if I forget my username or password?
When you sign up you will be sent an email confirmation that contains your username / web ID and your password. It's is important to keep this information in a safe place and don't give them to anyone else! If you can not remember your password, click the 'Forgot Password' button on the sign up page and we will email you your password.

Is my data safe?
Yes, of course. Your files are only accessible by you with a password and because your files are kept on our servers and regularly backed-up.

Will I have my own web address (domain name)?
Of course. If you don't have a domain yet, you can register you preferred domain via Comdev Web Builder. However, you can only use your own domain name once you activate your Comdev Web Builder account. This is currently not available during your free trial.

I already have a domain name and hosting account, can I use it?
If you already have your own domain name, you would have to request your domain registrars to update the DNS records on your domain for you, transfer and point it to your Comdev Web Builder. Our Domain Name Servers are:
Primary - ns1.comdevasp.com, Secondary - ns2.comdevasp.com.
Please note that you can only use your own domain name once you activate your Comdev Web Builder account.
Since our server configuration is optimized for application security and support to ensure that your website is running at maximum performance, we do not encourage our members to host in 3rd party server. Most 3rd party servers do not have the proper configuration for Comdev Web Builder.

How many products can I add to my web store?
You can actually add on as many products as you want to your store provided that it is within the disk space limit of your builder package. Based on rough estimation, your Premium Builder (50MB) comes with rooms to display up to 1,000 products, with Professional Builder, with 100MB of spaces in the Professional Builder that's enough for unlimited products! Of course, if you require additional space to add on additional products, you can easily purchased it for an additional US$5.00/100MB/month.

What if I need more disk space for my store?
Easily solved! Basically, your store will still be operational if it exceeds the 100MB of disk space. It’s just that at the end of the month, you will be billed for the additional disk space that your store had used at a rate of US$5.00/month for an additional 100MB of disk space.

What if my business is not ready for full E-Commerce, but wants to just display our products and merchandise?
Whatever the level of e-commerce your business is ready for, Comdev Web Builder has a solution! In the Product module of Comdev Web Builder, there is a "Shopping Cart" check box that allows you decide whether you want to put your products on sale or just display them. In this particular example, just leave the "Shopping Cart" check box blank. That way, a shopping cart icon will not be appearing in your product catalog. When you are ready to sell your products online anytime later, simply check the box, and your customers will be able to place order from you.

If I don't like the templates you have, will you design my store for me?
Most definitely. If you find that the templates on offer do not suit your store, just contact us to get a fully-customized template designed by our design partners. They will consult with you on your typical user demographics and then design a look that will suit your products and your target market.

I've made changes to my web page but when I go to the page I can't see the changes I've made?
A common problem if you are using Internet Explorer is the browser's 'cache' memory. These are the pages you have visited in the past which are 'remembered' by your browser. To correct this, press F5 on your keboard to force the browser to refresh its cache. You can also try CTRL and F5 if that does't fix the problem.
If that fails then you will need to click on TOOLS in the menu bar and select INTERNET OPTIONS. Under the 'General' tab in the middle of the dialog you will see a section called Temporary Internet Files and a button marked DELETE FILES. Click on this and close down all browser windows. Open Internet Explorer again and go back to the problem page.

Does the Comdev Web Builder come with a merchant account?
You would need to apply for a merchant account yourself. The good thing is that Comdev Web Builder is already integrated with most of the popular payment gateways around the world, so once you have applied for your merchant account, you can easily configure it on your Administrator Panel and start accepting credit cards online.

What if I already have my own merchant account, can I still use your solution?
Yes, of course. Depending on the payment gateway that you are currently using, your Comdev Web Builder may already support your existing merchant account. If your payment gateway is not currently supported, just inform us and we will add your payment gateway to your Comdev Web Builder.
