How to back up your MySQL database?

Here are the simple steps on how to backup your database:

1. Login to your web database console (phpMyAdmin).
   
2. If you have more than one database in your server, please select the database which you have installed the One Admin to, from the list of database name on the left menu.
   

   

3. You will see the database structure of the database which you have selected.
   
4. Scroll down till you find the "View dump (schema) of database" option.
   

   

5. If you only want to backup a particular table, select on the table name. If you wish to backup the entire database, select all the table names.
   
6. Check on the "Structure and data" option. This will backup both the database structure and the data.
   
7. Now, check on the "Save as file" option. This will save the file in .sql format.
   
8. Finally click on the "Go" button to backup your database.
