I'm having problems when I upload a .gif image file. It works fine with a .jpg file but gives me errors when i use a gif file.

For PHP version < 4.3.9, the GD Graphic Library compiled in the PHP configuration allows manipulation of images in JPG format only. This include auto-thumbnail creation, image resizing and add copyright text into an image.

If you do not wish to have the system generates the thumbnails for you, you may, insert a JPG file or a GIF file into the 'Thumbnail Photo'  and 'Enlarge Photo' fields, respectively. Pleae leave the 'Auto thumbnail creation', 'Auto resize photo' and 'Add copyright text' options blank.
