Your Links Directory includes 2 types of link checkers, Broken Link Checker, and Link Back Checker, which are described below:
- Broken Link Checker - This tool will spiders all the links in your database to check if the URLs are exist.
When the checking process is completed, it will display all the broken URL in the result page, and write the broken links to your database. Click on List Link for those bad links and remove them from your database.
- Link Back Checker - This tool will spiders all the websites appeared on your link directory to see if they have placed a link back to you.
Any website with empty reciprocal link will not be checked, and these are reported as Broken Reciprocal Link automatically.
When the checking process is completed, you'll get a list of Broken Reciprocal Links summarized in the result page.
Note: The accuracy of the checked results is depend on the speed of network connection between your server and those websites' you connected to. For example, a URL that is exist may be reported as broken if the site fails to respond to your server within an interval set in the checker.
