Manage FAQ Category Top


1. You will have to add at least one category before creating any FAQ.
2. Go to Manage Category.
3. Enter a category name.
4. Give some brief explanation. This description will be displayed beneath the category.
5. A highlighted row in the category list featuring the new category.
6. Click to edit a category while icon lets you remove a category at instant.


Creating a FAQ Top


1. Let's creating a FAQ by accessing Add FAQ page.
2. First, select a category to allocate the FAQ.
3. Enter question and create an answer using HTML editor. Insert images, bullet, hyperlink, bold text into the answer.
4. Upload an attachment file if any.
5. Finally, click on Add.


List, Search and Order Sequences Top


1. Choose a category if you wish to view FAQs for that category.
2. For Search FAQ, enter keywords of any question and click Go.
3. Sort the list by clicking icon, found ontop of the list.
4. Click and to arrange the display order of FAQs on your website.
5. To edit a FAQ, click on the icon.
6. Remove a FAQ from the list by clicking
7. Navigate through the list using Previous and Next link.


Edit and Delete a FAQ Top


1. Modify the question and answer of a FAQ here.
2. To change the attachment file, click Delete (adjacent to attached file name), then browse for a new file.
3. Click Save to save changes or click Delete to remove this FAQ. Click Back will bring you back to List FAQ page.
4. Use Previous and Next to navigate and edit other FAQs.


Preference Settings Top


1. Set how many Last Added FAQs to be shown on the website.
2. Define how many Most Views FAQs to be listed on the website.
3. Set how many FAQs (for each category) to be listed per webpage.
4. Set the number of search result per webpage.
5. Define the number of records listed per List FAQs page on the admin area.
6. Choose Yes to integrate FAQ module with Customer Helpdesk module. This may help if you wish to publish customer issues to your knowlegde base automatically.
7. Enter the url of the help desk webpage relative to FAQ webpage.
Say that FAQ URL='http://yourdomain/faq.php',
while Helpdesk URL='http://yourdomain/helpdesk.php', insert only 'helpdesk.php'.
8. Change the subject and content of Tell A Friend email. Maintain [[variable]].
